History

The Grind Dog roots go deep, dating back to the year 2000 with the development of The Grind; A Professional Training System. Subsequently, The Grind has refocused their efforts to become something greater. Today, diversified yet united as one organization they cultivate great young athletes in the game for heroes; baseball as the Grind Dogs.

Baseball Philosophy

We believe all SUCCESS starts with the right mindset. One must believe and that can only can be ignited through word. Words are spoken to our spirit, confidence comes and we start to believe we are what we and others say. As we believe we become who we say we are. Although inclusive, it is not just by doing drills or building skills that set a foundation for success; its mental. But it’s not just by compliments or saying “Atta Boy” because that has been done before too, to no avail.

Our goal to become great is that we speak to the spirit through opportunities in drills, practice, and games to develop and cultivate positive words and affirmations. Subsequently, we must train and even retrain our minds from neuro pathways we may have already been accustomed to, which are not positive. So, we will train body, mind and soul with immediate corrections during practice and games. This will allow us to become who were created to be, who we say we are and evolve into GREAT individuals; elevating ourselves to the next level in baseball now, through high school, college or to the Pros and spill over into every aspect of life.

It’s not just talk but a daily walk to cultivate and develop the gifts one has been given on each day we are graced with. Every player has the responsibility to rise up and walk out their call and their own personal mission. For some, this may be in MLB while it may be in another industry for someone else, but one thing is certain; everyone has to put the time in the GRIND to achieve the GREATNESS they were created for.

Thanks for everything you do for our son. It's because of you and the Grind that he has achieved such an accolade!​​​ Coach you get all the credit!!! We want to celebrate with you and the boys, our extended family!
